encompassing the design of peak shaving and emergency standby generator systems; development of total system specifications including fuel systems, engine generators and switchgear; assistance with site development, equipment procurement, installation review, field calibration and acceptance testing; also encompasses analysis of customer-owned generation for effect on utility system

 

  • Lightning Protection & Grounding Analysis

encompassing the design of lightning intercept systems and surge protection equipment; analysis of transmission line reliability and substation surge protection; analysis of site grounding requirements; electric system effect on outside facilities; and design of grounding systems
